Our fundraising goal for the 2024-25 school year
is $254,600.That’s about $972 per student – the "gap" between the funding we receive from the state and school district and the enriching experiences we want to provide. Every dollar helps us deliver on our mission to create an environment that fosters creative, independent students by implementing a rigorous core academic curriculum, engaging art enrichments, and providing an inclusive, caring community.Despite amazing generosity from our community, last year we came up short of our target. The PTA built up a cash surplus during the pandemic, but
we have been spending more than we’re raising to maintain the educational experience at
New Traditions, and we are budgeted to do so again this year—specifically to preserve staffing for reading intervention and our art programs. We want to be in a position where we can always ensure that New Traditions has the personnel and community experiences that make it so special, which is why it’s important we find ways to reach or exceed our target. To keep the magic of New Traditions strong, we ask each family to consider how they can participate in our fundraising events throughout the year—even small contributions are meaningful. Our community has always soared to the occasion, weathering every storm and celebrating every success together. Let's continue this tradition of support and generosity!
