Field Day - volunteers still needed!
Friday, May 31 at New Traditions
Field Day will take place on Friday, May 31 for grades K-5 at New Traditions. 5th graders will support Ms. Brown and Mr. Locket at the various stations for the K-3rd grades. But we are still looking for 6 more parent volunteers to support the stations for the 4th and 5th graders. Please email Ms. Brown at firstname.lastname@example.org if you can help, or use the link below to sign up through FreshSchools!
Yearbooks are IN and they’re beautiful - buy yours today!
The New Traditions yearbook is a hardcover book with over 60 full-color pages, filled to the brim with photos of every student and the fun and memorable times we shared this year. It’s made with love all throughout the year by our very own Jon Michaelsen (Annika - 5th, Gemma - 3rd), and you can order it now for just $40!
If the cost is prohibitive, please talk to your child’s teacher or to Ms. Debbie. We want everyone to enjoy this one-of-a-kind bit of New Traditions history.
Online ordering not your thing? Complete a paper order form and pay by check or cash:
Make checks payable to Friends of New Traditions PTA (“yearbook” in memo)
Place form+payment in yellow yearbook box (by bulletin board in the school lobby)
Contact Jon Michaelsen, Yearbook Chair, with questions: email@example.com or 415-308-3990

NT District Survey Results
Check out the attached three documents that contain the survey results. This survey, conducted by the school district each year, solicits feedback from students, staff, and families at New Traditions. This year we had the most family participation we’ve had in this survey in quite a while, so thank you for helping to make this data meaningful.
Greening Day #3
Saturday, June 1st 10am-2pm
(it’s like an open house - stop by anytime!)
Final Greening Day of this school year is coming up! We've gotten fantastic volunteers on past greening days to help weed, mulch, build, and get their hands dirty - let's do it one final time, so our plants are ready for the summer.
We’ll have something for everyone to do - or you can help oversee kids playing in the yard.
The event is from 10am-2pm, but even if you can only join for 30 minutes, please stop by!
Questions? Reach out to Lucia Wallace firstname.lastname@example.org.
