Wine Donations Needed for the Auction Wine Raffle

We need wine donations for our wine raffle: Are you still trying to figure out what you can donate to help make the event a success? Consider donating a bottle of wine (minimum value $20) to our wine raffle.  Each year at the auction we run a wine raffle where 1 or more winners head home with a case of premium wine. Last year we had enough wine for 3 winners and raised $3,000!  But we need your donations to make this a success.

How to donate a bottle of wine (minimum $20 value): It’s easy. Carole Penta is collecting wine at morning drop off. You can find her every morning on parking lot duty. If morning drop off isn’t convenient, email Carole ( or the auction committee ( to arrange drop off. Check out BevMo’s buy one bottle of wine and get the second for 5 cents. Take one home and donate the other to NT!

Early Bird Tickets are on Sale Now!: Prior to March 1st, tickets are $50 per person and include beverages, food, and entertainment at the event. On March 1st, ticket prices increase to $65 per person, so buy yours today! If the ticket price is a barrier, please contact Julie Alderete or the auction committee at to receive a complimentary ticket. This is a community event and we want as many New Traditions families to attend as possible.

Want to dress the part? Rent an outfit from the Speakeasy and earn New Traditions $50! While dressing up for our auction is never required, it can be a whole lot of fun. If you are looking for an outfit for Auction Night, The Speakeasy - a fun immersive SF theatrical experience and a Live Auction item at this year’s event! - is offering New Traditions parents a great deal on a wardrobe rental.

A full costume rental, regularly priced at $125 will be discounted by 20% to $100 and half the proceeds will be donated to New Traditions! To take advantage of this offer contact Jackee Princeau at and mention you are with New Traditions Elementary School to receive the discount. Then you can arrange a visit to their retail shop at 748 Broadway to put together your look!

Get ready to start the bidding! Our Online Auction Catalog will go live next week!

We need someone to run the end-of-year raffle! Is it you?

Want to make a big fundraising impact? We are looking for an individual to run our end of year school raffle. This is a time limited commitment over the next couple of months. We have several prize donations already so responsibilities mainly consist coordinating tickets sales and collections. Past raffles have raised $6,000 - $12,000, which is a significant portion of the PTA budget. You can make a difference! Please reach out to Don Anair if you’re curious.
