Winter Performances Details

In an effort to better support families with multiple children, this year we will hold both musical performances on the same night: Wednesday, December 19th.

K-2nd students will perform in the cafeteria from 5-5:30 pm. Due to space constraints, this performance is only for K-2 students and their families. All K-2 students will sit with their classes, in the cafeteria, during the show. At the end of this program, we will need to clear the cafeteria to prepare for the older kids’ performance.

3rd-5th students will perform in the cafeteria from 6-6:30 pm. This performance is intended for 3rd-5th graders and families only. The 3rd-5th grade students should go straight to their classrooms when they arrive at the school to wait as the K-2nd performance is still happening/wrapping up. Their teachers will usher them to the cafeteria when it is time.

Thank you all for your continued support.

How you could help right now...

  • Volunteer to work with your child’s class to make an art piece to sell at the auction! Email Lucy Robinson at to get started.

  • Do you have connections to the catering or restaurant business? We are looking for creative ways to serve great food at the auction!

  • Do you work someplace interesting (museum, at the airport, on a train, or at an interesting tech company)? Behind-the-scenes tours and unique experiences are super successful items for the live auction.

  • Perhaps you have a whole mess of airline miles or hotel points you don’t know what to do with. We can combine them with other items to make a cool vacation package - this kind of thing also does well as a live auction item.

  • Do you have a friend or family member with a house or apartment somewhere interesting (France, Spain, Monterey, SOMA)? Offering a weeklong getaway, or even a few days, is a great live auction item.

-Benefit Mobile App-

Have you heard of the Benefit app? You can use it in-store or online at tons of popular retailers - and at no cost to you. Now is an especially great time to try it out, because during the holidays a lot of retailers double the percentage that they give back. Paying with Benefit is faster, safer, and more rewarding than traditional payment methods. Each purchase earns between 2% - 20% of the transaction total that is sent to the cause of your choosing. It’s a super easy app to use - it takes maybe 20 seconds longer to pay with Benefit than with cash or a credit card. Download Benefit for iOS or Benefit for Android today.

-Rainbow Grocery Scrip Card-

Calling all Rainbow Grocery shoppers: Rainbow will donate 10% of your spend back to New Traditions when you shop with a Scrip Card! Please put your name down HERE if you would like the PTA to purchase a Scrip Card on your behalf for $10. You will simply reimburse the PTA for the initial purchase, and from there can add whatever amount you want to the card. Just bring the card with you every time you shop at Rainbow Grocery and use your Scrip Card as the form of payment.

Lost & Found - Winter Clean Up is coming!

Winter Performances are on Wednesday, December 19 and it will be the perfect time to check the rack of clothing and the little cart with lunch boxes, containers, water bottles and miscellaneous items by the Cafeteria. All items with no names on them will be donated afterwards.

Stop by and peruse - you may find things you didn’t even know you lost!
