Volunteers Needed: Scholastic Book Fair

November 26-30

Volunteering at the annual Scholastic Book Fair is a great way to stay connected to your child at school and help students find the books they can't wait to read. We're looking for set-up assistants, cashiers, and folks to help market the fair. Email Ray and Monica at bookfair@newtraditionssf.com if you can help!

Volunteers Needed: Can you help our community earn money while we shop?

There are so many retailers that will give a percentage of your purchase to New Traditions - but how is a person to know which retailers, and when, and what needs to be done to make it happen?

The PTA is seeking two volunteers to take charge of our school’s “passive income” so these opportunities don’t keep passing us by. This involves 1) updating and maintaining a master list of retailers and their passive income programs, 2) setting up one-time shopping events with retailers who offer that, and then 3) getting the word out to the school community about all the ways we can be earning money for New Traditions while we shop.

If you can help, please respond to this email or reach out to Amy Millward at communications@newtraditionssf.com.

Join the Friends of New Traditions PTA

The Friends of New Traditions PTA has 103 members now. Thank you to those who have taken the time to join this year. If you haven’t already, would you take a moment to become a member for the 2018-19 school year?

Join the PTA

Whether you’re giving of your time, your money, or your energy, our students benefit - even if the resources you give are a few minutes of your time and $10 for yearly dues. Every bit of effort toward supporting our students counts! Teachers, staff, parents and caregivers - thank you for everything you do to support and advocate for our students, and thank you for considering PTA membership.
