We hope you had a great winter break! Now that we're officially into the New Year, planning for the March 8th "Speakeasy" Auction Night is in full swing. There are two areas we can use the most help:

Donations

Do you have a favorite local restaurant? Or a store in your neighborhood with fun stuff? Or a camp/class that your child likes to go to? Now is NOT the time to be bashful! Please ask if they would like to donate to our auctionand the best part, you already have something you would like to bid on waiting for you! We have created a donation request letter and form for your use. Visit the auction website for more information.

Count-Me-In (CMI) Donations

Do you love to throw a party? Have kids over for an afternoon of making cookies or dance parties? We're looking for hosts to sponsor the ever popular CMIs! Please feel free to reach out to Daniel Stokes or Amy Millward with questions or ideas. If you are ready to go with your CMI, please submit the information using our google form.

Please submit your donations and Count-Me-Ins as soon as possible and before February 5th to ensure we have the most successful event.

Stay tuned for some upcoming sneak peeks at our ever-expanding catalog, but just to get you a little excited, Hamilton tickets are in the house!

Sincerely,

Your Auction Committee

Where: Roosevelt Middle School auditorium (with parking available in the RMS lot)

When: Friday, February 8th from 6:30-9 pm (refreshments from 6:15-7, movie from 7-9)

Cost: $20 per ticket, all proceeds go to the Roosevelt Middle School PTSA

Refreshments will be served pre-screening

Roosevelt middle kids ok to come solo, younger kids please accompanied by an adult/family member.

Yearbook Committee Chair Jon Michaelsen needs the photos you’ve taken of your child’s class!

Please send me any photos you take of your child’s class! Because I cannot be in every class during the year, I need help obtaining photos for the yearbook that show not only the special school events, but also the day-to-day moments of your child’s school year. Any photos of classroom life or field trip moments would greatly help.

You can send the photos to me in any way you feel comfortable: email me at jon@braincloud.tv, share an iPhoto album with me, send via dropbox, or another way that’s easy for you. I’ll accept them!

And don’t forget...keep a lookout for Box Tops!

Check out the attached flyer for all the details - and you and your child can use the attached collection sheet to make it a fun game!
