School Year of 2021-2022
Dear new family,
Our families, teachers, staff and principal would like to extend to you a very warm welcome. We are very glad that you are part of our New Traditions community!
Due to the school closures and changes in the registration process during the COVID-19 pandemic and “Shelter in Place” order in California, the PTA is not able to reach out to new families. The SFUSD has a confidentiality policy and does not share the contact information of new students.
All our events to welcome new families are still on hold, but as soon as we see a brighter light at the end of the tunnel we will send you updates.
Please sign up for FreshSchools. It's our main communication platform and the best way to keep informed. There is also a smartphone app that you can download. Click here https://www.newtraditionssf.com/roster to register.
For questions and concerns, contact email@example.com
We look forward to meeting you!
New Traditions Family Handbook
The Family Handbook is full of helpful information and guidelines for students and their families. Please take some time to read through it before the first day of school.
If you're interested in helping our school and don't know how... This could be a great opportunity
We have lots of parent-led committees that could use your help. From Auction to Scholastic Book Fair to Yearbook, there are tons of ways to get involved and make a difference.
Here are a few more ways to connect:
Welcome Tour & Coffee with the Principal + NT Families:
Tour: 9:00 am, school main entrance. We will lead a small tour for anyone who could not get one in the Fall.
Coffee: 9:45am, Cafeteria. We will have coffee, food and answers to all your questions about New Traditions.
Young children welcome!
Coffee is courtesy of Manitas Café
Join us for an inspiring community-building event! If you enjoy live music, arts, science, games, good company and delicious food… this is where the fun begins! It is a great opportunity for your child to get familiar with the school grounds and meet his/her schoolmates.
